Jagmeet Saini, he would say I’m always striving to grow as a dancer, I get out of my comfort zone, and that I also help out after class or whenever I get a chance to help spd out.
Jagmeet is the most motivational and inspirational person. I learnt a ton from him. He taught me how to step out of my comfort zone and be confident. He taught me how to respect others and earn it back. He taught me how to work hard and not give up. He taught me how to make people happy… there are just countless things I’ve learnt from him that helped me a lot in life.
I stepped out of my comfort zone when I got into the girls Gidha team not knowing anything about Gidha but overtime the coaches taught me a lot. I would bring an open mind to practices, learn as much as I could about Gidha and let it grow on me.
When I first joined SPD, I wasn’t too good at dance so my plan was to get good enough to be able to dance in any spd video or on stage. I accomplished both of them!
If I had a magic want I would end all the poverty around the world, because it breaks my heart knowing some of us on this planet don’t have access to water or food or even a house and I hate the fact they have to be living like that. So, I would want to end poverty.
A huge part of my life, Shaan Punjab Dee will always carry a special spot in my heart. Everyone in Shaan Punjab Dee has helped me gain self confidence and also motivated me when I needed it the most.
